We try to make the process of upgrading as easy as possible. This guide is intended to help you if you run into problems while upgrading.

If you have problems updating, you can always download a standalone copy of the latest Mixlr app here.
Windows
If an update is available, when you open the app you'll see a screen like this:
If you're not ready to update yet, click Remind me later. To give our broadcasters time to update, we allow a couple of weeks before this option disappears.
When you're ready to update, click Update now. You should see a dialog appear like this one:
To continue, click on Install Update. Mixlr will open your web browser, like Internet Explorer or Google Chrome, and download the new version of Mixlr.
Sometimes, it's difficult to see the download. If you get stuck, just download the latest version of Mixlr in this browser by clicking here. Then, follow the steps below.
In your browser, confirm the download and open Mixlr.exe:
Confirm that you want to run the app: don't worry about the security warning.
Finally, you'll see the usual Windows installation options. Install the update, and you'll be ready to go!

Finally, click on Install and Relaunch. Mixlr will restart, and you're ready to go!
