Broadcast using Traktor S2 (Windows)

This article explains how to broadcast on Mixlr using DJ software - Traktor, and an external MIDI controller - Traktor S2. You'll be using Traktor to mix tracks from your PC and the S2 to control your levels crossfader.

Step 1 - Open Traktor preferences

You will find the audio preferences in Traktor's settings:

Ensure the Audio Setup settings in Traktor are as follows:

Step 3 - Traktor Output Setup

Ensure the Output Routing settings are as follows:

Step 4 - Open Mixlr

Open the Mixlr app. If you haven’t downloaded it yet, you can do so here.

Step 5 - Select the Traktor S2 Master as your audio source:

(Tip - If you're having problems with the Mixlr app receiving audio signal, check that you have the latest Traktor drivers installed. You can download the latest drivers  here.)

If you have problems - check the Volume Control within Windows to ensure the correct levels are set and that it's receiving audio from the desired sources.
